Denzel and the rookie have breakfast here at LA's Quality Cafe at the beginning of Training Day. It is no longer a functioning diner, but it still shows up in plenty of movies including Seven, Ghost World, (500) Days of Summer and many others.

Just to keep things interesting, they built the new Sunnydale High School in season 7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer right on top of the hellmouth in the same spot as the old Sunnydale High School that was destroyed at the end of season 3 (15-year-old spoiler... sorry).
Exteriors were filmed on the campus of California State University, Northridge.

Much of The Truman Show was shot in and around Seaside, Florida on the gulf coast. You'll find Truman's house on Natchez Street not far from the filming locations for Seahaven's downtown square.

Although the simulated reality town of Seahaven in The Truman Show looks as if it could have been shot on a studio lot, it was actually filmed in Seaside, a planned community on Florida's panhandle. Seaside's central square served as Seahaven's downtown. A lot of the buildings, including Seahaven Life & Casualty where Jim Carrey worked, were just facades constructed for the movie, but if you visit, you can stop in at Modica Market (aka Goodies) where Marlon stocked shelves.
