jack white’s home [2003 - 2006]

After becoming a commercially successful musician, Jack White moved to the affluent Indian Village neighborhood.
The home was designed by C. Howard Crane, architect of the Detroit’s Fox Theater, Orchestra Hall, and Opera House.
The White Stripes recorded their album “Get Behind Me Satan” in the foyer of this home.
White sold the house in 2006 to move to Nashville, TN.

Billy Corgan attended this school in the early to mid-1980's.
Due to his size, Corgan excelled in sports as a child. By the time he entered high school, he would no longer be excessively larger than his peers. His superiority in sports began to diminish. It was at this time that he turned his focus to music.
Though Corgan would remain a sports fan, he would hide the fact once he entered the alt-rock limelight. He became open with his interest in sports after The Smashing Pumpkins breakup in 2000.

“scott asheton memorial bridge”

During "the fun house" era, Scott Asheton drove a 12'6" rental truck into this 10'6" bridge after a gig. Asheton and 2 roadies, all seriously injured, tossed reds into the nearby brush before the cops arrived.

Home of the band and their manager in the late 1960's. Nico stayed here with Iggy Pop in his attic bedroom during their brief relationship. The farmhouse has since been demolished.
