The exterior of The Doctors Tonic in Welwyn was turned into the fictional pub The Old Familiar for the "Golden Mile" pub crawl in The World's End.
To show the "starbucking" of their favorite old pubs, the interior of The Old Familiar was shot where The First Post was filmed so that it would be identical to their first stop.

The first four pubs in the "Golden Mile" pub crawl from The World's End are located in Welwyn Garden City.

Letchworth Garden City and Welwyn Garden City combined to become the fictional town of Newton Haven for The World's End, the third movie in Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's so-called Cornetto Trilogy.
The last eight pubs from the "Golden Mile" pub crawl are located in Letchworth, although they all have made-up names that tie into the events of the movie, and a few of them, just in case you have the idea to attempt the pub crawl yourself, aren't actual pubs.
The United Kingdom's first roundabout in the movie though is real. It's Letchworth's Sollershott roundabout that dates back to 1909. Some vegetation had to be removed for the stunt at the end of the movie, but producers worked with the city to replant all the flowers and shrubs.

The climactic final show in the magic caper movie Now You See Me takes place at 5 Pointz in Queens.
The 5 Pointz warehouse had been a premiere showcase for graffiti since 1993. The owner planned to raze the building for condo space, and when the artists began to look into federal protection for their work he had it whitewashed in late 2013.

New York's Sedgewick Hotel where the Ghostbusters bust their first ghost is actually the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
You can also see the Biltmore in Fight Club when Tyler Durden and what's-his-name go after the police commissioner.
