As an homage to Scorsese, Mike, Trent and Sue get a tracking shot of their own in Swingers when they enter The Derby through the back entrance to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
The Derby in Los Feliz was originally a branch of the Brown Derby chain of restaurants in LA before being converted into a nightclub in 1985. It closed down in 2009.

On November 30, 2013, Paul Walker attended a charity event in California for Reach Out Worldwide, the nonprofit organization for disaster victims that he had set up to help provide relief around the world following the Haiti earthquakes in 2010.
That afternoon Walker left the event with his friend Roger Rodas. Rodas was driving a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT and Walker was riding in the passenger seat when Rodas lost control of the car on Hercules Street in Santa Clarita and crashed into light pole and tree. Both men died when the car burst into flames.
Walker, who was 40 years old, was on a hiatus from filming the seventh movie in the ongoing Fast & Furious franchise when the accident occurred.

In reality it's a bit of a hike to get to the The World's End, the final destination of the "Golden Mile" pub crawl. This was filmed at The Gardener's Arms about a mile west of the other pubs in Letchworth.

Interiors were filmed at Elstree Studios.
