The utilitarian interiors of the British Columbia Institute of Technology's Aerospace Campus near Vancouver were used as the hallways of the underground control center in Cabin in the Woods, and the building also makes an appearance as part of the Gen-Sys laboratory eventually overrun by damn dirty apes in 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes reboot.

The Garcia house is a residence on Mulholland Drive built by architect John Lautner in 1962. It's sometimes called the Rainbow House due to its arched roof and the colorful stained glass windows.
In Lethal Weapon 2, it's the base of South African drug dealers, and Riggs destroys the building by pulling it down the hill with his pickup truck.

Architect John Lautner's Chemosphere (named for the Chem Seal Corporation's coatings used when it was built) is a unique Modernist building in Los Angeles. The one story octagon sits on a thirty-foot-high concrete pole in the Hollywood Hills.
It's home to the murderous Sam in Brian de Palma's 1984 movie Body Double. In real life it's been the home of Benedikt Taschen, of Taschen publishing, since 2000.
