Emma's Tattoo where Leonard gets his last tattoo of the movie (or his first if that's how you want to look at it) is not an actual tattoo parlor, but the location is on the corner of Foothill Boulevard and Mather Avenue in San Fernando Valley.

In Memento, Leonard was double-booked at the Discount Inn, since the clerk knew he wasn't going to remember it anyway. The scenes were filmed at the Travel Inn on the corner of Foothill and Hillhaven Ave in Tujunga, California.
