Rian Johnson has said that he stole Joe's character arc from Rick's arc in Casablanca, so it's fitting that he also borrows La Belle Aurore from Casablanca as well. It's the name of the café in Paris where Rick and Ilsa last see each other before the Nazis invade.

In Countdown to Liquor Day, they filmed Lahey's new trailer park, Lahey's Luxury Estates, at a trailer park off Caldwell Road in Eastern Passage right next to where they filmed Trailer Park Boys season 4. You'll find the trailer Lahey shared with Randy at 17 Juniper Crescent.

As part of The Big Dirty, a plan that involves stealing lot and lots of change, Ricky, Julian and Bubbles (along with Cory and Trevor) attempt to rob the parking meters in front of the Sun Sun Cafe, a Chinese restaurant near Dartmouth Cove. Ricky ends up backing over the meters when the tools they brought aren't adequate for the job.

Trailer Park Boys: The Movie was released in 2006 between seasons 6 and 7 of the tv show.
