hoxton street

The street that Richard Ashcroft walks down in the video for "Bittersweet Symphony" is Hoxton Street in London. If you want to recreate this, start lip-syncing next to the Golden Fried Chicken on the corner of Hoxton and Falkirk and head north, but refrain from bumping into people like an asshole.

The video was inspired by the 1991 video for "Unfinished Sympathy" by Massive Attack where Shara Nelson walks down a street in Los Angeles, singing and ignoring her surroundings just like Richard Ashcroft did, but not being such a dick.
