Banksy’s ‘Portrait of Basquiat being welcomed by the Metropolitan Police – an (unofficial) collaboration with the new Basquiat show’ featuring a character appropriated from Basquiat’s ‘Boy and Dog in a Johnnypump’ appeared in the Barbican Tunnel just before the September 2017 opening of a Basquiat showcase at the Barbican Center in London.
