While they are waiting in line, Ed Begley, Jr. tricks Fred and Carrie into eating at his cafe in Portlandia's "Brunch Village" episode. Don't be fooled by the magic of editing. Patties Home Plate Cafe where they filmed this is about five miles away from where they shot the scenes for Fisherman's Porch.
I guess it's a restaurant. It also seems like a drugstore.

Portlandia's Lewis and Clark skit was filmed at the Oregon Historical Society in downtown Portland.
Fun Fact:
Portland's founders Francis Pettygrove and Asa Lovejoy (from Portland, Maine and Boston, Massachusetts respectively) each wanted to name the future Portlandia after his home town. They flipped a coin (best two out of three) to decide which it should be, and Pettygrove won. You can see the 'Portland Penny' that kept Portland from being named Boston in the Oregon Historical Society's Museum.
