It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney (Mac) graduated from St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia in 1995. In the two-parter at the end of season 7, the entire gang heads to St. Joe's Prep for their high school reunion.

Not much to see here, but this is the exterior used for Dee's apartment in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Unlike the exterior of Paddy's Pub which is in Los Angeles, this building is actually in Philadelphia. The interior, like all the apartments, is filmed on a set.

Rob and Kaitlin McElhenney (Mac and Sweet Dee from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia who are married in real life) are part owners of the bar Mac's Tavern on Market St. in Philadelphia.
According to the Mac's Tavern website, the building was formerly Skinner’s Dry Goods Store, and in 1776 "would have been THE dry goods store for Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Franklin, who resided right up the block… as well as Betsy Ross, 1 block away."
