On January 13, 1999, Hae Min Lee, a senior at Woodlawn High School in Baltimore County, disappeared. After her body was discovered a few weeks later, her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed, also a senior at Woodlawn, was arrested for her murder. He was later convicted and then sentenced to life in June of the following year.

The stars of NPR's Car Talk- Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers (better known as Tom and Ray Magliozzi)- used to own a DIY garage called Hacker's Heaven.
After that didn't work out, they opened a legit auto repair shop called Good News Garage, which is still open today.
Tom Magliozzi passed away on Nov. 3, 2014 from complication of Alzheimer's disease. He was 77 years old.
