The city where John Doe commits his series of murders in David Fincher's Seven is never named, but it was filmed mostly in and around Los Angeles. The sloth victim's apartment was in the building of the Giant Penny store, a five-and-dime on the corner of Broadway and 3rd Street in downtown LA that was closed in 1998.

This Karate kid film location is Ali's (Elizabeth Shue) house. Daniel pulls up to the fancy digs with his mom in her station wagon to pick up Ali, and his wrong-side-of-the-tracksness becomes evident. Ali's parents come to the door in matching traffic outfits, and then the Larusso's have to push the station wagon away.

This location is also used when the Cobra gang in skeleton make-up kick the crap out of Daniel-san by the fence. Then Mr. Miyagi jumps in and throws the smack down on the d-bags in the Cobra gang. It is extremely gratifying. You have to imagine the fence without weed and shrub growth.
