Located in the upscale Denny-Blaine district of Seattle, Kurt and Courtney purchased this house for $1.130 million in January of 1994.
On April 8, 1994, Kurt Cobain was found dead by an electrician at this location in a room over the garage called "the greenhouse." It was estimated that his death occurred on April 5, 1994.
The are a number of conspiracy theories, but the death certificate concluded his death was a suicide.
The garage and "greenhouse" were bulldozed in 1996, and the home was sold by Courtney Love in 1997.

The Melvins used to rehearse at this space, the former house of drummer of Dale Crover. Kurt Cobain and Chris Novoselic would hang out here as well.
Dale Crover and Kurt Cobain were in a band called Fecal Matter, and he collaborated with Cobain (and Dave Grohl) on several different tracks and projects.

At this address, Maria Novoselic (mother of Nirvana bass player, Krist Novoselic) owned a beauty salon. After the business would close, Nirvana would practice in a space above the salon.

A bar rumored to be where Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic used to imbibe. Supposedly, Kurt and Krist gave an impromptu performance at this establishment after a December 21, 1988 show in Hoquiam, WA.
