This filming location, which goes by the name "The Deuce Hotel" in Episode 5, Season 1 of Portlandia, is actually The Ace Hotel.
In the sketch, two very hipster hotel employees (Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein) are distributing record players, Kenny Loggins vinyls and vintage typewriters to guests, when they suddenly shift into cool-overdrive once indie-rock heroes Corin Tucker (Sleater-Kinney), James Mercer (The Shins), and Colin Meloy (The Decemberists) check in.
