The pilot for Friday Night Lights was shot at Texas's Pflugerville High School, an active high school with an actual Panthers athletic program, but after that first episode, the show was filmed at the football field and field house at the old Del Valle High School near the Austin airport (so close that they rerouted flights so as not to interrupt filming). The nearby baseball field was converted into the football field for the East Dillon Lions starting in season four.
alamo freeze

Unlike the Applebee's in Friday Night Lights, which was an Applebee's on the show, this Dairy Queen was turned into the Alamo Freeze where Matt Saracen and later Smash both worked. It's located in Austin which was the setting for much of fictional Dillon, Texas.
coach taylor’s house

First there was a book, then a movie, then the NBC tv show Friday Night Lights about the fictional Texas town Dillon and their high school football team the Dillon Panthers. This was coach Eric Taylor's house located in non-fictional Austin. It was for sale in 2011 but no longer, so any superfans looking to buy it are out of luck for now.

Home of Dillon Panthers QB1 Matt Saracen from NBC's football drama Friday Night Lights. I would assume someone lives here, so if you visit, be nice.
