The Timberline Lodge is a ski lodge in the Mt. Hood National Forest.
It is also the exterior filming location for The Shining- the 1980 psychological horror-thriller directed by Stanley Kubrick, written by Stephen King, and starring Jack Nicholson.
This is where all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
